Iris Reception
Iris

A phone receptionist for portrait photographers

You're mid-shoot. Iris has the phone.

When a client calls and you can't pick up, Iris answers in your studio's name, asks the questions you'd ask, and texts you everything before you've changed lenses.

Iris is answering for you

The client who calls on Tuesday afternoon books whoever picks up.

You can't answer with a baby asleep in the posing beanbag, a toddler mid-tantrum, or a CEO sitting for a headshot. Iris can.

Listen in

Warm, unhurried, and always yours.

Caller"Hi, I'm due in early November and wanted to ask about newborn photos?"

IrisCongratulations! I'm Dana's automated assistant, and this call is transcribed. Would you like the session at home, or in the studio?

Caller"At home, if that's possible. We're in Meadowvale."

IrisLovely. Dana calls back in the evenings. Would Tuesday between 7 and 9 work?

Try it yourself (289) 401-1732 Pretend you're a client. Iris reads everything back before saving it.

Whatever you shoot, the calls sound the same.

Iris learns your sessions, your starting prices and your evenings for callbacks. Then it handles the questions every portrait studio hears.

01Newborn"How soon after birth should we book?"
02Maternity"I'm 30 weeks. Is that too late?"
03Headshots & branding"Can you do my whole team on one day?"
good boy
04Pets"He won't sit still. Is that okay?"
05Families & events"Are you free the first weekend of May?"

Fair questions

What photographers ask us before they say yes.

Will it sound like a robot?

It sounds like a calm, friendly receptionist. It also says up front that it's your studio's automated assistant, because clients deserve to know. Call the sample studio and judge for yourself.

Do I have to change my number?

No. Clients keep calling the number they already have. You forward the calls you don't answer to your Iris line, and we test it together before anything goes live.

Does it know my prices?

Only what you give it. You approve the session types and starting prices it can mention. Anything it doesn't know, it promises you'll cover on the callback.

What if it gets something wrong?

Iris reads every detail back to the caller before saving it, including the phone number digit by digit. You see the full transcript, and nothing is booked until you call the client yourself.
